Welcome to Saigon Leather — where every piece is cut, stitched and hand-painted by artisans who have spent a lifetime perfecting their craft.

Our story

For over ten years we have made leather goods the slow way, by hand, in the heart of Saigon. What began as a small workshop has grown into a house of makers whose artisans bring more than 25 years of experience to the bench. We have never chased volume. We make objects meant to be carried for decades and to age beautifully as they go.

The art of patina

Patina is the soul of our work. Each item is finished entirely by hand — colour built up in translucent layers and burnished until the leather glows with depth that no machine can reproduce. Because every piece is painted by a person, no two are exactly alike. The small variations in grain and tone are not flaws; they are the signature of something genuinely handmade.

What we make

Our collections span hand-painted patina shoes, jackets, handbags and clutches, wallets, belts and watch straps. Every product is crafted from full-grain leather selected for character and durability, and finished with the same care whether it is a wallet or a pair of oxfords.

Made to order, made for you

Almost everything we sell is made to order. When you place an order, your item is crafted specifically for you — typically within 7 to 21 business days — rather than pulled from a shelf. Many pieces can be personalised or engraved, turning a beautiful object into a personal one. Made-to-order is slower, but it means less waste and a product finished to your specification.
